Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 25, 2026

Cortiq is a brain-training app for iPhone. The short version: everything you do in Cortiq stays on your device and in your own iCloud. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no servers of ours — it makes no network connections of its own at all. We never see your data and never sell anything, because there is nothing to see or sell.

What stays on your device

Your session results, test scores, streaks, medals, baseline, reminder time, and settings (language, dark mode) are stored on your iPhone. Progress is also mirrored to your personal iCloud account via Apple's key-value storage (under your Apple ID) so it survives reinstalls and follows you to a new device. That data lives in Apple's infrastructure under Apple's terms — we cannot read it.

What we collect

Nothing. Cortiq contains no analytics or tracking SDKs, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party code that phones home. The daily reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device — no push servers are involved.

App Store

If you install Cortiq from the App Store, Apple may provide us with standard aggregated statistics (downloads, crashes) under Apple's privacy policy. These are anonymous aggregates; they contain no personal data and are governed by your own choice in iOS Settings → Privacy → Analytics.

Children

Cortiq is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version adds any kind of data collection — the update appears on this page with a new date above, before that version ships.
